Do I need to Prepare for LASIK Screening?
If you wear SOFT contact lenses, you should stop wearing
them 2 days before your screening. If you wear HARD
contact lenses, you should stop wearing them one month
before your screening. This will allow Dr. Lasonde to
obtain the most accurate measurements. In addition,
please bring your most current pair of glasses to the
screening.
Is It Covered by Insurance?
A small number of our patients have had their LASIK
procedure completely covered by their company's insurance.
Others have received partial coverage. In addition,
many have used what are called FLEX Medical Spending
Accounts. These accounts allow a person to set aside
Pre-Tax dollars for use in elective procedures. It is
best to contact your company's human resources department
to discuss options.
How Much Does It Cost?
By offering convenient payment plans, our goal is to
make LASIK affordable to everyone. Payments can be arranged
for as little as 68 dollars per month. The cost is $1600
per eye. This fee includes your evaluation, the procedure
itself, all follow-up appointments and any enhancements
needed to achieve improved vision. Once you have scheduled
a free screening, you can discuss financing plans and
other payment options which best fit your needs. Flexible
medical savings plans are accepted and convenient finance
plans are available through Vision Fee Plan.
